Smart Cities and Sustainable Communities

Latin America is the most urbanized developing region, with approximately 80% of its population living in cities. As urbanization accelerates, cities face growing challenges related to resource management, public services, and overall quality of life. This session will compare how cities around the world are leveraging the smart city model to implement sustainable, data-driven, and people-centric urban solutions. Experts will discuss innovative approaches to urban mobility, energy efficiency, digital governance, and community engagement that are transforming cities into more livable and resilient environments.
