Alejandra Herrera

Alejandra Herrera serves as CIEE’s Regional Director of Operations for Latin America. With more than a decade of leadership in international education, she has directed CIEE study centers in Chile, advanced academic innovation as Academic Director, and played a key role in promoting diversity and inclusion through the Inclusive Excellence Task Force.

She oversees multicultural teams across CIEE centers in Buenos Aires, Santiago (Chile), San Juan, São Paulo, Santiago de los Caballeros, Mérida, and Monteverde. Fluent in Spanish and English, and currently expanding her proficiency in German and Portuguese, Alejandra is dedicated to shaping transformative educational experiences that foster intercultural understanding and inclusive academic environments.
