Session 1: The Changing Face of Education
This session will present the outcomes of CIEE`s revised faculty and staff training program for delivery in all locations in the world. In response to the concurrent global challenges of social justice and inclusion, and diminished access to education due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CIEE Inclusive Excellence Task Force and the Academic Affairs department worked collaboratively to create resources promoting awareness of Diversity and Inclusion in international teaching and learning contexts, and power and privilege in syllabi design.
Additionally, the program developed additional resources to enhance faculty skills and strategies when delivering inclusive student-centered models of learning using digital and online technologies to augment the intercultural classroom and co-curricular learning experience.
