Wayne Cloete

Wayne Cloete is originally from Montagu in the Langeberg District of the Western Cape and currently resides in Cape Town. He graduated from the University of the Western Cape with a Bachelor of Social Work. He joined Cape Mental Health in 2017 and worked as a field social worker for eight years in mental health. He currently serves as the Social Work Manager of the Metro North Social Work Team at Cape Mental Health, facilitating groups, providing one-on-one counselling sessions, and supporting community projects in Delft, Ravensmead, and Belhar. His professional interests include men’s mental health and supporting clients with mental health challenges who are in conflict with the law.
