Toni-Ann Tewary

Toni-Ann Tewary is a regenerative storyteller and creative communications practitioner, with a decade of experience across marketing, multimedia design, and film and documentary production.

Her journey into the environmental space began through permaculture, completing her first Applied Permaculture training in 2021. In 2022, she returned to the creative space with a regenerative mindset, bringing her communications experience into the social-impact sector.

Today, her work is centred on bridging the gap between grassroots stories and the wider public, ensuring that community knowledge, experiences and achievements are communicated with dignity, context and care. Her interests span food security, social justice, environmental justice and community-led development. She has facilitated citizen journalism workshops and curated gender-based violence awareness activations, creating spaces for communities to participate in shaping and sharing their own stories.

Her work is now centred around advocating for grassroots voices through high-quality creative production and regenerative storytelling, strengthening community agency, making meaningful work visible, and connecting people to the systems that shape their lives.
