Biography
Tallulah is a 2025 graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she double-majored in Critical Race Political Economy & Spanish, while also receiving a Five College Certificate in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies. Facilitated by CIEE, Tallulah studied as a year-long Liberal Arts student at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago de Los Caballeros, the Dominican Republic. Immersion granted an internship as a College Alumni for HSSA, followed by a position to promote specifically Latin American travel during her graduating year as a Study Abroad Assistant in the McCulloch Center for Global Initiative. Leading to her return to the DR as a Youth Development Program Leader, facilitating the cross-cultural education of global navigators. Tallulah’s favorite part has been creating unity within service work.
Building an international presence allows Tallulah to engage in community with inclusivity and care. She is dedicated to understanding one another beyond cultural characteristics, and the importance of Latin American and the African Diaspora in U.S. education to decolonize ideas around what development should be. Her transition within CIEE: from student, to Intern, to Study Abroad Assistant, and finally to Program Leader formed her values, and paved a path for her academic and professional growth to align. Her goal is to continue expanding access to global competency in her future.
