Palesa Mokomele

Palesa Mokomele is a strategic communications and corporate affairs executive with more than two decades of experience across government, nonprofit and corporate environments. As HOD: Corporate Affairs at DKMS Africa, she leads communications, reputation, stakeholder engagement and advocacy supporting the organisation’s life-saving mission. A former spokesperson to two South African Cabinet Ministers, Palesa brings expertise in strategic communications, public affairs, reputation management and social impact. She holds a Master’s in Political Communication from the University of Leeds, where she was a Chevening Scholar, and is a Mandela Washington Fellowship alumna. She is passionate about using communication to advance inclusion and meaningful social change.
