Basetsana Maposa

Basetsana Masego Maposa is a seasoned health, gender, and international development professional with over 15 years of experience managing and directing national and multilateral donor-funded projects. Her diverse expertise spans organizational development, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), health systems strengthening, risk communication and community engagement. Basetsana currently serves as the Center Director at CIEE Gaborone, where she oversees diverse portfolio of intercultural and experiential learning study abroad programs focused on health, community development, wildlife, and conservation. A strong advocate for community-led solutions to sustainable development, Basetsana previously served on the board of Nkaikela Youth Group, a Botswana-based community organization that works with key populations to advances social inclusion, health equity, and community well-being.
