Biography
Basetsana Masego Maposa is a seasoned health, gender, and international development professional with over 15 years of experience managing and directing national and multilateral donor projects. Her diverse expertise spans organizational development, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), health systems strengthening, risk communication and community engagement.
Basetsana currently serves as the Center Director at CIEE Gaborone, where she oversees various intercultural and experiential learning study abroad programs focused on health, community development, wildlife, and conservation. A strong advocate for local community-led solutions to sustainable development, she is a board member of Nkaikela Youth Group, a community-based organization that works with key population in Botswana.
