Short-term and Faculty-led Programs as Paths to Expanding Accessibility
This salon will focus on the development of short-term study abroad programs and their potential impact on diversity abroad initiatives. Given this pivotal moment during which we, as international educators, consider the (re)emergence of traditional long-term immersion programs, and ways to make education abroad more accessible for underrepresented students, it is also crucial that we (re)examine short-term programming and its benefits for expanding accessibility.
