Opening Session: Education Abroad as a Bridge to Peace

Study abroad builds bridges to peace through intercultural connection. This mission was critically important during the Cold War, when CIEE opened its first study location in Leningrad. This panel opens the annual conference with a focus on that legacy, study abroad, diplomacy, and how we can contribute to resolving the ongoing conflicts on the Korean Peninsula and in Ukraine. Panelists will include representatives from international education and government sectors.
