This session explores how study abroad programs can ethically engage students in Indigenous-led conservation efforts, fostering meaningful cross-cultural exchanges while respecting Indigenous sovereignty, knowledge systems, and community priorities. Through case studies and best practices, participants will gain insight into co-designed experiential learning models that empower students to support conservation initiatives responsibly and reciprocally.
