Brandon Collier-Reed

Professor Brandon Collier-Reed is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Teaching and Learning at the University of Cape Town. His undergraduate degree is in Mechanical Engineering, and he was awarded his PhD in Engineering Education. He is a Past President of the South African Society for Engineering Education, a Fellow of the South African Institution of Mechanical Engineering, and the South African Academy of Engineering. He is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa, and was awarded the UCT Distinguished Teacher Award in 2024.
