Amma Appiah

Amma Konadu Appiah is the Center Director of CIEE Legon in Accra, Ghana. She leads programs that promote global learning, intercultural exchange, and community engagement. Amma holds a doctoral degree in Population Studies from the University of Ghana, and her scholarship focuses on chronic illness experiences and inclusive care. She is passionate about fostering transformative study abroad experiences for global citizenship and cross-cultural understanding, and believes such vital bridges are best built with empathy.
