Biography

Francesco Bedeschi is a distinguished architect and educator, specializing in sustainable design, parametric architecture, and high-performance buildings. He currently leads as the Resident Director of the University of Arkansas Rome Center and serves as Managing Director at SINERGI Consulting srl in Rome. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Università La Sapienza and a Post Professional Master of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NYC), Francesco’s academic career spans two decades, including teaching roles at Mississippi State University and Thomas Jefferson University. He has taught advanced courses like Environmental Parametrics and Architectural Design Studio, integrating sustainability and cutting-edge technology. A registered architect in Rome since 2003, Francesco has authored significant publications, including “Architectonics and Parametric Thinking” (Routledge, 2023). His leadership extends to the Green Building Council Italia and the AACUPI, reflecting his commitment to advancing sustainable architectural practices and international education globally.
