Madiha Chafik

Madiha Chafik works with CIEE as Center Director of their Rabat program. She is passionate about using experiential learning to ensure that her students are learning with and from local communities.  Her work seeks to decolonize the narratives perpetuated in study abroad by the Global North. Madiha has led and facilitated many Faculty and custom led programs in Morocco and has worked with both American and Moroccan university students and faculty groups. She brings a strong background in teaching and intercultural project coordination to her position as Center Director. Madiha received her Master’s degree in International Education and Development from George Washington University and her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University.
