Join us for a thought-provoking and dynamic conference session where we explore the transformative ideas presented in Mikaela Loach’s groundbreaking book, It’s Not That Radical: Climate Action to Transform Our World. This session will bring together leading voices from five different global regions—Africa and the the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, North America, and the Pacific Rim—to engage in a rich, cross-cultural dialogue about the book’s central themes and their implications for global climate activism. In It’s Not That Radical, Mikaela Loach — who will speak at the closing plenary for the CIEE conference in Rome– presents a vision for climate action that goes beyond conventional approaches, challenging us to embrace bold, systemic change. This session will provide a unique opportunity to hear diverse regional perspectives on how Loach’s ideas resonate in different cultural and political contexts.
